Wedge Table

Sometimes, you tend to buy 2 zero gravity chairs. In this case, you can put a wedge table in between the 2 chairs.

What is a wedge table? It is actually a furniture that functions like the table. Like the chair side table, you can put coffee, drinking bottles, books, magazines on the wedge table. For example, you can make it your coffee table or cocktail table. This way, you can reach for the table top from the ease of your massage chair at home.

However, there is one big difference. the 2 side edges of the wedge table are slightly angled. Therefore, when you position 2 chairs with the table in between, you will notice the chairs are facing towards each other a little. This angle is very small, measuring only 10 degrees or so. When 2 persons sit on both chairs, they still can watch the television screen comfortably. Therefore, you can say the wedge table looks like a trapezium.

You have to choose the colors properly. You will want to match the wood colors and shades of the wedge table to look good along with your chair wood base. For example, you should always choose a light brown wood like maple or oak to match with a lightly colored chair base. Consider the wood finish too. Some finishing are high quality so they can protect the wood. Cheaper wedge tables tend to have lower finishing quality.

When buying one, make sure the table has the appropriate height. This allows you to reach for your items on the table more easily. Otherwise, you have to deliberately extend and this could hurt your posture while you're sitting on the chair. Ideally, you can reach for items at ease and remain seated (not shifting your body position) while you are doing so.
