Chair Side Table

Chair side tables allow you to put items on it for your convenience. This way, you don't have to get off your zero gravity chair and get the things you want. Instead, simply reach for the particular item you want at your side on the chair side table. Sometimes, it is called as a chairside end table.

Height is the biggest factor. You want to make sure it is the same level or lower than your zero gravity chair's arm rest. When buying one, make sure it is tall enough so you don't have to extend your hand when reaching for something.

Some of the chair side tables have drawers for you to use. However, this extra feature comes with a higher price, but is very handy to store magazines.

Colors of wood matter. You have to choose the proper wood tones and finish. For example, you don't want something too light and shows a big contrast with the wood on your chair base and legs. Choose the wood color intensity of the chair side table. You will find that they are all brown in color because they are all essentially made from wood.

Depending on your needs, you can buy the ones with multiple shelves with several flat platform layers. Therefore, instead of one flat table surface, you have multiple table surfaces on different height levels.

You must also make sure a chair side table is sturdy enough. This is because you don't want it to shake or slide easily and cause the items on top of the side table to drop.

You will notice some have different and creative designs. These types of chairside tables don't look like ordinary tables with 4 legs. Some might have a flat platform at the bottom for support instead.

Price wise, some may be as cheap as $10 and go as high as $100. It depends on the quality of the wood. Actually, you don't need to invest that much into a chair side table because after all, you will be only putting light items on it. A decent one that is not too overly expensive can last you for years. After all, it is a furniture.

How to Use

Position it to the left or right of your chair. This depends on whether you are right left handed. If your dominant hand is right, then you should place it at the right as well.
